2023 KTM Duke Range Details
A pack of 3 test bikes was spied with multiple testing equipment attached to them. Considering the position of KTM India in the market, Duke is soon getting great upgrades. A deep look at the spy shots showcases the use of a new aluminum cast frame. Additionally, one can spot the new aluminum swingarm and an off-set rear monoshock suspension. Meanwhile, it also had bionic alloy wheels as seen on the current Duke 390. We expect that lighter disc brakes and cut-down kerb weight will only increase the riding pleasure on the upcoming Duke range.
Now, the question is whether it was the new 390 or the 200. Well, the popularity and sales volumes suggest that KTM will launch the Duke 200 first. This is because the RC 200 was also launched ahead of the new RC 390. Additionally, the main revenue of the 200 series is ahead of any other product from the stable. One can also spot that the test bike is seen running an underbelly exhaust. However, the 390 range has already dropped off the underbelly exhaust design since its 2017 update.
We also spotted a bigger TFT display and a new headlight as seen on the 1290 Super Duke. The new TFT indicates that additional connected features will be provided on the new Duke range.
India Launch & Price
Going by the speed of testing, we suspect that KTM will debut the new Duke range in India soon. However, we do not expect this to happen any time before the first quarter of 2023. Additionally, a hike in pricing is expected as well due to the latest tech and more features.
