Tata Motors is preparing for the September launch of the facelifted version of its highly popular SUV, the Nexon. According to reports, the launch event is anticipated to occur on September 21st. The upcoming Nexon facelift will bring significant changes to its exterior design, interior features, and available transmission options. Prior to the official launch, a walkaround video showcasing the facelift's front and rear has emerged online. Uncovered photos of the facelifted model have already surfaced on the internet, and the accompanying video has provided additional insights into the changes.

Tata Nexon Facelift
The upcoming facelift of the Tata Nexon draws significant inspiration from the Curvv EV concept. It showcases a refreshed front design characterized by curvaceous LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a vertically stacked headlamp assembly integrated into the bumper, and a new front grille, among other prominent features. The rear has also undergone updates, incorporating a refreshed design with a connected LED tail lamp that forms a continuous light bar. The edge of the light assembly offers a glimpse of the current design language. The Nexon's exterior now presents a more contemporary appearance, enhanced by additional angular lines and contours. Notably, the side profile showcases an entirely new set of alloy wheels 5-spoke diamond-cut wheels with a turbine-like pattern.
Shifting our focus to the interior, significant revisions have been applied, primarily concentrated in the front row. The dashboard layout has undergone a refresh, accommodating a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new instrument cluster, updated climate control switches, a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel, and a revamped center console area, among other notable changes. As part of the facelift, the feature lineup is set to be changed, encompassing additions like a 360-degree camera system and an expanded array of safety and convenience features.

Tata Nexon Facelift Engine
Underneath the hood, you'll find a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 123 bhp and 225 Nm of torque. Additionally, there's a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine in the lineup, churning out 108 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. Both powertrains offer the choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission (AMT), accompanied by three distinct driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport. However, there are reports circulating as well that the facelift will also get a 5-speed manual transmission for the base variants, and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for the higher-tier models.
