3rd Generation Honda Amaze
The Honda Amaze promotional period is over, so the introductory prices have ended. The new prices make the Amaze more expensive by up to Rs 30,000. To make it easier for you to understand, I have created a table that will help clarify this update.
Variants | Old | New Prices | Difference |
V (5MT) | Rs 7.99 lakh | Rs 8.09 lakh | 10,000 |
V (CVT) | Rs 9.19 lakh | Rs 9.34 lakh | 15,000 |
VX (5MT) | Rs 9.09 lakh | Rs 9.19 lakh | 10,000 |
VX (CVT) | Rs 9.99 lakh | Rs 10.14 lakh | 15,000 |
ZX (5MT) | Rs 9.69 lakh | Rs 9.99 lakh | 30,000 |
ZX (CVT) | Rs 10.89 lakh | Rs 11.19 lakh | 30,000 |
So, CVT variants have gone up by Rs 15,000, while manual variants have also seen a price increase. Moreover, the Amaze is still India's most affordable car to come with ADAS, as this safety feature is available from just Rs 10 lakh onwards. Apart from this, it is still powered by a 1.2L 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine that produces 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque.

Verdict
The all-new Honda Amaze has been well received by both experts and customers, as Honda has installed ADAS Level 2 in it, setting it apart from competitors, and has improved its fuel efficiency. However, many have pointed out that the Amaze isn't a peppy car, despite having a 4-cylinder engine, and the CVT makes it even more lethargic. That said, if you're a first-time buyer, the Amaze remains a fantastic choice as it is reliable, feature-loaded, and handsome looking vehicle.
