German luxury carmaker BMW has increased the prices of its 3 Series and 7 Series sedans in India. The 7 Series has seen a price hike of Rs. 1.40 lakh, compared to a maximum increase of Rs. 80,000 for the 3 Series. The price of some models was also increased by the German manufacturer last month
BMW 3 Series Price Hike
There are three variants in the BMW 3 Series in which the 320Ld Luxury Line has seen a price increase of Rs 80,000, while the 320Li M Sport First Edition and 320Li Luxury Line have both seen price increases of Rs 60,000.

The BMW 3 Series comes with an option of a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder diesel or petrol engine. While the latter generates 255 bhp of peak power and 400 Nm of peak torque, the former generates 188 bhp of power and 400 Nm of peak torque. An 8-Speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission is connected to both engines. The 330i Sport, 320d Luxury Edition, 330i M Sport, and M340i xDrive are the four trim levels available for the BMW 3 series.
BMW 7 Series Price Hike
The top-of-the-line BMW sedan model is the 7 Series. The price of the 7 Series' 740Li M Sport Edition has increased by Rs 1.40 lakh. A 3.0 litre, inline 6-cylinder petrol engine powers the 740Li. The engine has a maximum torque output of 450 Nm of peak torque and 355 bhp of power. An 8-Speed Steptronic automatic transmission is connected to the engine.
The 7 Series is one of the most luxurious sedan available in the Indian market. It has a tonne of features and all the bells and whistles a person could want in a vehicle.

The German brand introduced the X5 xDrive 30d M Sport model earlier this week. This model is now the top-spec option available for the X5, and it now includes the M Sport styling package.
