Now, if we talk about the engine specs of these vehicles, so the new Isuzu D-Max Hi-Lander and the D-Max V-Cross are powered by a new BS6 compliant 1.9-litre diesel engine. The old 2.5-litre diesel mill has been discontinued. So, the new 1.9-litre oil-burner churns out 163 PS of maximum power and 360 Nm of peak torque. The D-Max Hi-Lander comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only while the D-Max V-Cross gets both a 6-speed manual gearbox as well as a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. The D-Max Hi-Lander gets 4x2 while the V-Cross gets both 4x2 as well as 4x4 layout.

Finally, we have Isuzu's flagship SUV, the MU-X. The MU-X is powered by the same BS6 compliant 1.9-litre turbocharged diesel motor that churns out 163 PS of maximum power and 360 Nm of peak torque.
