Now, the latest addition to the compact SUV segment is the Skoda Kylaq, and while it is new to the scene, it has some interesting features to offer over the Maruti Brezza, something that we will be covering in this section. 1. Ventilated And Powered Front Seats
The Skoda Kylaq offers a touch of luxury with its ventilated seats, a feature that can be a lifesaver during India's scorching summers. While the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, a popular choice in the segment, misses out on this comfort-enhancing feature, highlighting the Kylaq's superior cabin experience. Not just this, the Kylaq also offers powered front seat adjustment for both the driver and co-passenger, offering a more modern feel and something to flaunt.
2. Fully Digital Instrument Console & Bigger Infotainment Screen
Talking about the screen sizes on board, the Kylaq beats the Maruti Brezza in both the infotainment and the instrument cluster department. The Skoda Kylaq offers a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system compared to the 9-inch unit in the Maruti Suzuki Brezza although both systems support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Getting a step ahead, the Kylaq also features an 8-inch digital driver's display, while the Brezza relies on a traditional analog instrument cluster with a small digital MID.
3. TPMS
The Skoda Kylaq offers a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as an added safety feature. This system alerts the driver to any changes in tyre pressure, which helps in avoiding any unfortunate incidents when the vehicle is at high speeds. This nifty and essential safety feature takes a leave on the Maruti Brezza.
4. 6 Airbags As Standard
In terms of safety, the Skoda Kylaq offers six airbags across all variants, providing comprehensive protection for occupants. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza, on the other hand, offers six airbags only in the top-spec ZXi Plus variant, with lower variants limited to dual front airbags. Interstingly, while both these SUVs offer a range of safety features, they miss out on any ADAS suit completely.

5. Cornering Headlamps
The Skoda Kylaq offers an additional safety feature with cornering headlights that enhance visibility around bends, particularly in low-light conditions. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza, on the other hand, features LED projector headlights and front fog lamps with automatic headlight function.
Verdict
There is no doubt that the both Kylaq and the Brezza are solid products from two reputed brands, but when it comes down to outright comparison, the spec-sheet reveals contrasting data and there are somethings that both offer over each other. However, talking about the latest launch here, the Kylaq, it has a long road ahead where it has to rival some cemented contenders in the space that have a legacy like the Brezza and Nexon. Although I have hopes for it to carve out its place, the fight would be fierce.
