2024 Bajaj Pulsar N160: Leaked Price, Colours And Design
The updated bike has made an unofficial debut online ahead of its official launch, and the leaked prices suggest a starting point of Rs. 1,32,627 (ex-showroom). In comparison, the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar N160 OBD2 was launched at Rs. 1,29,645. This bike will come in two variants - Single Channel ABS and Dual Channel ABS. The colour options include Brooklyn Black, Racing Red, and Caribbean Blue, with a gradient effect from dark in the front to lighter towards the rear, highlighting its contours.
When it comes to looks, there aren't any noticeable changes. It retains the signature naked wolf design, featuring a body-coloured headlamp cowl and a matching front fender. The bike is equipped with a Bi-Functional LED Projector headlamp, twin DRLs, and Crystalline split LED Tail Lamps. The sporty Under Belly Exhaust, engine cowl, and split-style seats remain consistent with the previous model.
What's New with the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N160 Upgrades?
The new 2024 Pulsar N160 comes with a fully digital LCD screen displaying a bunch of useful information like speed, time, gear position, oil and fuel indicators, RPM, and more. It even gives you alerts for calls and messages, along with your phone's battery status. Plus, it has features like a USB charging port, a side-stand engine cutoff sensor and ABS.
What's interesting is that it's the first Bajaj motorcycle to have Bluetooth connectivity, though it might not have the full range performance. The upgraded switches now come with indicator and horn switches. On the left switchgear, you'll find a "Mode" button that lets you cycle through different functions.
The bike's latest update features a new fuel mix of 20% ethanol and 80% petrol, marked by the E20 label on the tank. It houses a 164.82 CC single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve oil-cooled OBD-2 E20 (BS6 Phase 2) FI Engine, delivering 16 PS at 8750 RPM and 14.65 NM at 6750 RPM. With a 14-litre fuel capacity, it achieves 45 Kmpl mileage and hits a top speed of 125 Kmph. The smooth constant mesh 5-speed transmission adds to the overall riding experience.
For safety, dual-channel ABS variants come with a 37 mm telescopic fork suspension in the front and a rear mono-shock. The braking system includes a 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc with ABS

The bike still ensures safety with dual-channel ABS and disc brakes on both wheels.
The dimensions of the bike remain constant: a wheelbase of 1358 mm, rider seat height of 795 mm, ground clearance of 165 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres. The tire specifications include a front of 100/80-17 Tubeless and a rear of 130/70-17 Tubeless.
