Honda Amaze: Honda Cars India has introduced the third-generation Honda Amaze, priced from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated version of the sedan competes with rivals like the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor. Honda Amaze features
The Amaze is available in three variants:- V, VX and ZX. However, the ZX variant comprises up to 60 per cent of the total bookings. One of the key reasons for the popularity of the top-spec is the premium features it offers. The prominent features in the ZX variant include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charger, auto headlamps, paddle shifters, rear camera with parking sensors and an ADAS level 2 package. In front, it features the dual-barrel LED headlights, the bold alpha signature grille, or the thick chrome strip, all these design elements are visible on the larger Elevate.
Honda Amaze Powertrain And Pricing
The New Amaze comes with the same 1.2 litre petrol engine which belts out 90 PS power and 110 NM of torque. This engine is mated with a 5-speed manual or a CVT unit. Moreover, Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 19.46 kmpl which is more than its predecessor. The introductory price of the Honda Amaze is Rs 7.99 lakh. However, for the CVT base variant, it starts at Rs 9.19 lakh. The top-spec ZX costs Rs 9.69 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 10.89 lakh for the CVT variant.
