Honda Elevate
The revised pricing of the Honda Elevate is now revealed and it's the automatic variants that bears the burden of increased costs. The CVT variants now cost Rs. 20,000 more than before, which as per the brand is a result of rising input costs and other costs as well. The manual variants continue with their earlier pricing in 2025 without any revisions. The new updated price list for the CVT variants looks like this:
Variant | Old Price | New Price |
V CVT | 13,71,000 | 13,91,000 |
VX CVT | 15,10,000 | 15,30,000 |
ZX CVT | 16,43,000 | 16,63,000 |
The Honda Elevate uses the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine you'll find in the Honda City, but unlike its sedan sibling, it skips the strong hybrid option to compensate for a diesel mill omission. Notably, Honda is also planning to roll out an 'Elevate Black Edition' soon, which will give the SUV a cool, all-black look, both inside and out.

The Honda City offers two distinct powertrain options. The 1.5-liter non-hybrid petrol engine delivers 121 hp and can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. This configuration achieves a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.8 kmpl with the manual gearbox and 18.4 kmpl with the CVT. Alternatively, the City is available with a 1.5-liter hybrid powertrain as well, producing 126 hp and coupled with an eCVT gearbox. Where this hybrid setup truly excels is in the fuel economy, boasting a remarkable claimed figure of 27.13 kmpl.
Verdict
The price hike is nothing new and the info was conveyed by most brands in December already. While the pricing for the City and Elevate goes up, no such changes have been revealed for the recently launched Honda Amaze considering its relative timeline of debut.
