Hyundai's 3-row SUV, the Alacazar, received a major facelift in 2024, enhancing its design, features, and cabin experience. With the facelift Hyundai has added a plethora of features to the Alcazar. Now, in 2025, the brand has rolled out a subtle update to further improve cabin experience of the Alcazar more convenient. Until now, the Hyundai Alcazar only supported wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, Hyundai has now introduced a new adapter to support wireless connectivity. Hyundai Alcazar Update

The newly launched wireless adapter is a compact device that allows customers to seamlessly connect their phones to the vehicles screen via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This eliminates the hassle of carrying a cable specifically for the car to establish a connection. The Alcazar features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will now support wireless connectivity with the new adapter.
Other features of the Hyundai Alcazar include a wireless charging pad, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, ADAS, 360-degree camera, among others. The Alcazar is one of the most feature-loaded 3-row SUVs one can buy in the Indian market under a price tag of Rs 25 lakh.
Commenting on the launch of the new wireless adapter, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, "At HMIL, our focus is to empower customers by providing best-in-class technology that elevates their driving experience. The Hyundai Alcazar comes with 2 engine options a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox, while the diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AT gearbox.
Verdict
With the help of the wireless adapter, customers can easily connect their phones to the infotainment screen. Hyundai's 10-inch display in the Alcazar, Creta, and Verna does not support wireless connectivity, whereas the smaller 8-inch screen does. We expect the brand to soon launch this adapter as an optional accessory for the Creta and Verna as well.
