India-bound BMW 3 Series has received its model year update in the global market. The 2025 BMW 3 Series comes with subtle changes on the exterior, interior, and hardware front. 2025 BMW 3 Series - Updated Exterior & Interior
The facelift of the BMW 3 Series boasts subtle changes on the exterior, it now gets a revised headlamp design with vertically stacked DRLs. The brand has also introduced new colour schemes namely Vegas Red Metallic White & Arctic Race Blue. The sedan version gets Y-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels. Apart from these changes, the brand has also made some changes to the chassis and to the rear suspension to enhance the overall quality. The M340i further gets some M-specific cosmetic and hardware changes.
The brand has also given some subtle changes to the interior of the 3 Series as well. The 330i will now get a two-spoke steering wheel, however, the M340i and 330i with M Sport Package will get a flat bottom 3-spoke steering wheel. Additionally, the M340i has an M Aluminum Rhombicle brushed aluminum finish as standard, while the 330i has Fineline Light open-pore wood. The updated models also include a new infotainment system with BMW 8.5 OS, BMW Drive, and Quickselect system, as well as nine colors for the ambient lighting.

2025 BMW 3 Series Engine Updates
The 2025 BMW 330i gets a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-charged petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech. This engine produces 255 bhp of power and 400 Nm of peak torque. This version now comes with a bigger 19.4 kWh electric motor to enhance the performance. It now offers an electric range of 101 km.
The M340i on the other hand comes with a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder twin turbo petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology. This engine churns out 386 bhp of power and 539 Nm of peak torque mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
