The Austrian sports bike manufacturer has updated its 790 Duke for the 2025 year, and looking at their official site, I came to know that the updates are quite minimal: a 5-inch TFT display, switchgear from bigger Duke bikes, and two colours - orange and black. KTM didn't touch the 799cc 2-cylinder, 4-stroke and parallel twin engine, as it produces the exact same power. More details below; in the meantime, make sure to join the 91Wheels WhatsApp Channel to never miss out on automotive updates.

2025 KTM 790 Duke
This street naked sports bike is the 5th one in the Duke lineup after the 125, 200, 250, and 390. The 790 Duke is powered by a thunderous 799cc engine that makes 94 hp and 70 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. For 2025, this bike gets a 5-inch TFT screen.
This screen packs all the important information one needs to know about this bike, plus if you want to unlock the full potential of this screen, the KTMConnect app is there, but available optionally. This app will give you access to navigation, audio, and calls. Lastly, a USB-C connection is available.
Moreover, the KTM 790 Duke gets two new colour options - orange and black. The first one looks more apt on this bike, as the tank shoulders are finished in an attention-grabbing orange colour, while the rest is in black. In this colour, it appears like a quintessential KTM bike.

Verdict
KTM has updated several of its motorcycles for the 2025 year with minor details, and this one gets even better. Last year, the automaker shocked the industry when they launched 10 bikes at a single time, setting the bar really high in the sports bike segment. Talking about this bike, it is meant for experienced riders with a long history of riding, as new riders won't be able to handle the high power, which requires special skills.
