The Thar Roxx had a waiting period of up to 18 months the previous month and even now the model has an average waiting period ranging from 9 months to 15 months. Mahindra to Reduce Thar Roxx Waiting Period
As mentioned above, this month Thar Roxx has a waiting period of 9 to 15 months. The model will witness a huge reduction in the waiting period once the manufacturer increases production. Additionally, the same will happen when the automaker starts delivering the trims with Mocha Brown interiors reserved for the 4x4 version.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in multiple powertrain, drivetrain and paint and transmission options. Catering to a variety of demands while focusing on the needs of every consumer is a bit difficult task even for a giant like Mahindra.
Thar Roxx Features
The Mahindra Thar Roxx features a dual 10.25-inch display (one for the infotainment screen and the other as a driver's display, a 9-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, rear AC vents and Auto AC. Other features on offer include a wireless phone charger, automatic headlights, cruise control and a panoramic sunroof.
Powertrain
The 5-door Thar gets two engine options which include a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine (162 PS and 330 Nm) and a 2.2-litre diesel engine (152 PS and 330 Nm). These power figures are for manual variants while automatic ones produce slightly higher than these. While both diesel and petrol versions come with RWD configuration as standard, the diesel mill also offers a 4WD drivetrain option.
