Mahindra Scorpio N Dark Edition: Things To Expect

The Scorpio N Dark Edition would likely come with a new black paint scheme, and it would further be complemented by blacked-out treatment on the grille slats, the fog-lamp garnish, badging, the window outline, lower side panels, roof rails, and the alloy rims. We can also expect red treatment on the brake callipers and on some badges for contrast. As for the interiors, we can expect a heavy dose of all-black treatment everywhere, with possibly red inserts for some contrast.

We can expect this variant to be based on the top-end variant, and it could possibly be priced at a slight premium over the other standard variants. In terms of mechanicals, the Dark Edition Scorpio N will likely retain the same powertrain setup; a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel, paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque-converter.

Verdict
A dark edition Scorpio N will possibly appeal to a set of buyers who want nothing but a gangster-looking SUV for a not-so-heavy price tag. The Scorpio N is built on a proven, capable platform, and with the kind of packaging it offers, a dark edition Scorpio N should not find it too difficult to find buyers.
