Powertrain And Rivals
Both the MG Hector and Hector Plus share updated powertrains complying with BS6 Phase 2 standards. They offer a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 141bhp and 250Nm, as well as a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 168bhp and 350Nm. The petrol variant comes with both a six-speed manual and a CVT gearbox, while the diesel version is paired only with a six-speed manual transmission.
