Kawasaki W175 Street: What's In The Store?
Kawasaki has given a subtle upgrade to the W175 Street, introducing two new stylish colour options and eye-catching graphics, all set against a sleek all-black backdrop. Notably, the bike now boasts alloy wheels, providing the convenience of tubeless tires, a departure from the standard model's wire-spoke wheels with tubed tires. Despite these changes, the wheel and tire sizes remain consistent - 80/100-17 at the front and 100/90-17 at the rear.

Digging into the specifications, there are slight variations in seat height, ground clearance, and wheelbase, but details about any potential frame adjustments are still under wraps. Powering the W175 Street is the same reliable 177cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 12.8bhp and 13.2Nm, paired with a smooth five-speed gearbox. Its robust double cradle frame is supported by telescopic forks and dual springs, with braking handled by a disc-drum combination. The 12-litre fuel tank remains unchanged.
In terms of features, the W175 Street keeps it straightforward, sporting a basic halogen headlight and predominantly analogue instrumentation, supplemented by a small LCD digital inset. The recently launched Kawasaki W175 is in direct competition with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin in the Indian market, offering a viable choice in the segment.
