Hyundai Motor India launched the facelifted Alcazar in India a few weeks ago. The updated Alcazar comes with an all-new design and an upgraded set of features. Most upgrades on the new-gen Alcazar resemble the Creta facelift. The price for the new Alcazar starts at Rs. 14.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 21.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Pre-facelift Hyundai Alcazar
The brand is offering an impressive discount with the pre-facelift model. Some selected variants of the old Alcazar are available with benefits of up to Rs 2.5 lakh. Officially, the automaker is offering a discount of up to Rs. 55,000. But at the dealership level, you can available added benefits of up to Rs. 2 lakh which are aimed at selling the remaining stock. The total discount value includes corporate discounts, exchange bonuses and other benefits that significantly reduce the on-road price of the vehicle.
Please note that the above-mentioned discounts are tentative and may vary at your end due to dealerships, inventory and negotiation. Also, these discounts can be primarily availed off on the Platinum, Platinum (O) and Signature variants (petrol and diesel).
Pre--Facelift Alcazar Features
However, the automaker has added some major features to the new Alcazar, the outgoing one was also one of the most feature-loaded SUVs in its category. It had features such as a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor, a big infotainment system display, an electrically adjustable driver seat, a panoramic sunroof and a digital instrument cluster.
Pre-Facelift Alcazar Powertrain
The old Alcazar used to be available in two engine options- a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine which is carried over by the new-gen model as well. The outgoing model offered a six-speed manual and an automatic torque converter transmission, while the new-gen Alcazar gets a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT unit for transmission duties.
