The premium compact sedan Skoda Slavia facelift is set to launch in September 2025, followed by the Skoda Kushaq. It has been over 3.5 years since the Slavia was released in the country, and except for the Volkswagen Virtus, all its competitors have received their mid-life cycle updates.

What can we expect from the Skoda Slavia facelift?
The Skoda Slavia will feature a newly designed bumper and grille, and the LED headlights might receive a trendy new shape. Additionally, rumors suggest that it will have connected LED DRLs similar to those in the Verna, as this has become a common styling trait in modern automobiles. Similar design changes are expected for the rear end as well.
Regarding the alloy wheels, the current Slavia features R16 Ving alloy wheels. The upcoming model might include similar alloys with a machined finish, which has become a new trend in the Indian automotive sector. However, the spy shots don't reveal anything as they are covered in all black plastic.
The Slavia's interior is expected to feature ADAS Level 2 and a 360-degree camera, which has become a must for a car priced between Rs 14 to 20 lakh.
Powertrain of the Skoda Slavia facelift?
The upcoming sedan won't upgrade to enigne choices as the 1.0 L TSI and 1.5L TSI are already a solid options. The 1.0 L TSI has a power output of 113 Ps and 178 Nm of torque, which is mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
Additionally, with the manual gearbox, this car achieves an ARAI-certified mileage of 20.32 kmpl, and with the automatic transmission, it offers around 18.73 kmpl.
Second option, which is a powerhouse and one of the best in its segment, is the 1.5L turbo-petrol engine producing 147 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It sends power to the front wheels through either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. Also, ARAI-certified mileage is 18 kmpl with the manual gearbox and 17 kmpl with the DCT.
