Launched in 2019, the SF250 grabbed the eyeballs mainly because of its pricing and then its design. The new design is described as bulky but then it is quite leaner when you ride it. It comes with loads of features and in its BS6 avatar, it gets an improved engine.
Suzuki Gixxer SF250: Looks, Dimension and Colour Options
There is no doubt that the SF250 really looks amazing and comes in three colour options - Metallic Matte Premium Silver, Metallic Matte Black and Racing Blue.
It measures 2010 mm in length, 740 mm in width and 1035 mm in height. Both the wheelbase and ground clearance measures 1345 mm and 165 mm. Overall, the SF250 really stands out in the crowd with the fully faired looks.
Suzuki Gixxer SF250: Engine, Transmission and Suspension
The SF250 is powered by a four-stroke, single-cylinder oil-cooled 249 cc petrol engine which makes as much as 26.1 bhp with 22.2 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox which makes it easier to keep the revs lower in order to return highest fuel economy figures as well as reach triple digits speeds easily.
Suspension wise, the front gets telescopic while the rear adjusts with the swing arm unit. The suspension feels soft and makes it easier for both the rider and pillion over bad roads.

Both the front and rear alloy wheels measure 17-inches and are tubeless. Both the tyres get disc brake and the front measures 300 mm. Feature-wise, the Gixxer SF250 gets dual-channel ABS, LED treatment on the headlight and taillight, fuel injection technology and among others.

The SF250 comes in two variants - the standard version offering grey and black colour scheme and then the Moto GP edition offering Race Blue colour. The price starts from Rs 1.77 lakh and Rs 1.78 lakh respectively. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
