Tata Curvv #Dark Edition

The Dark Edition, splashes carbon black paint on all over the Tata Curvv, even on places where usually Tata adds chrome. However, unlike Safari, Harrier and Nexon, the grille of the Curvv remains unchanged as several silver inserts in the shape of cubes are there, which is the only bright looking element on this exterior. To add more, the 18 Inch with petal design again aren't completely pitch black, but those diamond cuts are visible - although Tata is calling this #Dark alloy wheels. Also, the flush door handles come with welcome lights, and #Dark mascot is there on the sides.

Talking about the interior, again, it's totally black and the headrests feature the #Dark logos, but at the central console runs a thin grey strip that adds a touch of sophistication, along with carbon-fiber-like inserts covering over the AC vents. Apart from this, every feature remains the same as what Tata offers with their top-spec Accomplished trims. So, a 10.25-inch infotainment display, dual-zone climate control, 10.25-inch MID, 9 speakers, panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, rear sunshade, gesture-controlled power tailgate, and Level 2 ADAS features are there.

Engine Options
One petrol and one diesel engine are there, and both mate with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed DCA. Now, the petrol engine isn't the regular turbo, but the all-new one which Tata launched with the Curvv - the 1.2L Hyperion. So, let's check out their power figures.

Verdict
Finally, Tata Curvv has joined the Dark Edition clan, and the launch is also happening at a very interesting time, as the Curvv is the official car of the IPL, and on a daily basis, crores of people watch it during the live telecast of matches - so a very strategic decision. Talking more, it is based on the top 2 trims, that's why the cost is kept on the higher side, which limits its sales, as usually people don't go with the top trims because features don't tempt everyone. So, Tata could have brought it down to lower trims, but let's see first how this edition creates a positive impact on sales.
