Tata Motors has adjusted the prices of its electric vehicle lineup, including the Nexon EV, Tigor EV, and Tiago EV. The Tiago EV is now priced between Rs. 8.69 lakh and Rs. 12.09 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in 2 variants and the main difference is the battery capacity and range. It competes with rivals like the Citroen eC3 and MG Comet EV.

Powertrain
The electric hatch comes in XE, XT, XZ Plus, and XZ Plus Tech trims, available with both medium and long-range options. The medium-range variants are equipped with a 19.2kWh battery pack, while the long-range models feature a 24kWh battery, offering claimed ranges of 250km and 315km, respectively.
Tata Nexon iCNG Concept Debuts
The upcoming Nexon iCNG, sharing design elements with the updated Nexon, pioneers as India's first Turbocharged CNG passenger vehicle, boasting a 1.2L Turbocharged petrol engine. Utilizing dual-cylinder technology akin to other Tata Motors CNG cars, it offers a spacious 260-litre boot space. Equipped with a factory-fitted CNG system, it features advanced components like a micro switch, enhanced materials for leak prevention, and a single advanced ECU for smooth transitions between CNG and Petrol modes.
With this introduction, the Nexon becomes India's sole car offering multiple powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, turbo petrol, and EV variants, while internally mirroring standard Nexon features like a dual 10.25-inch display, illuminated logo on the steering wheel, automatic climate control, and wireless connectivity.

While the Tiago EV remains an attractive option in the electric vehicle segment, its recent price hike is still within cushioning limits.
