Tata Tiago iCNG AMT & Tigor iCNG AMT - Details
The recently introduced Tata Tiago iCNG AMT and Tigor iCNG AMT now offer additional color options. The color palette includes the new Tornado Blue for the Tiago, Grassland Beige for the Tiago NRG, and Meteor Bronze for the Tigor.
The Tiago & Tigor iCNG AMT is equipped with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol+CNG engine. These vehicles feature advanced dual-cylinder technology and a single ECU, enabling smooth transitions between petrol and CNG modes. Moreover, both vehicles can be started in CNG mode.
Both vehicles are equipped with a 7-inch infotainment system, a semi-digital driver display, and an 8-speaker sound system. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS and EBD, TPMS, and a rear parking camera. There are no changes to the existing set of features, with both vehicles retaining their current feature lists.

Tata Tiago & Tigor iCNG AMT - Engine
Currently, the Tata Tiago & Tigor iCNG delivers a power output of 73.5bhp and torque of 95Nm, exclusively paired with a five-speed manual transmission and AMT gearbox.
Verdict
Tata's decision to introduce CNG automatic variants is a commendable move by the brand. With these additions, both cars have significantly enhanced their competitiveness, making Tata the sole manufacturer to provide CNG Automatic options. Featuring the AMT gearbox, the Tiago iCNG is will give tough competition to the Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG and the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS CNG. Likewise, the Tigor iCNG AMT is expected to present a robust challenge to the Hyundai Aura CNG and Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG.
