Tata Motors is all set to bring the Tigor EV facelift in the coming few weeks and it offers a driving range of 213 km. However, the Tata Tigor EV facelift will first cater to the fleet buyers under their new brand XPRES. Moreover, the electric sedan will be called XPRES T-EV.
With this new XPRES brand, Tata Motors targets the fleet customers and this caters to the needs of safety, passenger comfort and low cost of ownership. Furthermore, this specific set of cars will carry XPRES badging so that it differentiates them from the personal segment.
Sharing about the battery specifications then it gets a 21.5kWh pack and a smaller 16.5kWh pack. Both the batteries can be charged 0-80% in just 90 min and 110 mins respectively. Also, both the battery packs can be charged using a 15A plug point that is easily available and convenient. The XPRES T-EV now provides 213 km and 165 km of driving range with 21.5kWh and 16.5kWh battery packs respectively.
Design-wise, the front now carries a reworked styling with an enclosed grill with a tri-arrow and blue highlights. The charging socket is now placed in the grille as we've seen in the other EVs. Similarly, the blue highlights continue on the interior too.
As per the carmaker, the XPRES T-EV will be made available in two variants - XM+ and XT+. The latter gets more features like alloy wheels, body-coloured door handles and ORVMs, electrically adjustable ORVMs and a remote entry fob.
Safety features on both the car continue with dual-front airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensors, a high-speed alert system, a front seat belt reminder and more.
