The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has always been a good looking motorcycle and the new-gen version is no different. In fact, the design of the new-gen motorcycle looks completely identical to its predecessor and that’s actually a good thing as people love Classic 350’s contemporary styling. Royal Enfield has followed the mantra if it ain't broken, don’t fix it and this will surely work in the company’s favour as there will be a lot of takers of the Classic 350. At the front, the motorcycle gets a round-shaped headlamp with chrome surrounds. The headlamp of the bike is a halogen unit and not a LED unit. It doesn’t get LED DRLs but there are twin pilot lamps.
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets round-shaped turn indicators as it is a retro bike and the motorcycle gets blacked-out or chrome-embellished rear-view mirrors, depending on the variant. The new Classic 350 is available in five variants and eleven different colour shades. The variants of the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 are as follows - Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark and Chrome. The motorcycle is available in nine dual-tone colours and two single-tone shades. The dual-tone colours are Chrome Red, Chrome Bronze, Dark Stealth Black, Dark Gunmetal Grey, Signals Marsh Grey, Signals Sandstorm, Halcyon Green, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Grey. The single-tone paint schemes are Redditch Green and Redditch Grey.
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 has a great road presence, thanks to its healthy proportions. The Classic 350 measures 2145 mm in length, it has a width of 785 mm and this retro bike has a height of 1090 mm. The Classic 350 has a wheelbase of 1390 mm and it offers a massive ground clearance of 170 mm which is around 35 mm more than its predecessor and you won’t have any issues with it. The Classic 350 is a quite heavy motorcycle and it weighs around 195 kgs. The motorcycle has a seat height of 805 mm and it isn’t very suitable for short riders.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a new BS6 compliant 349cc, single-cylinder, air & oil-cooled engine and it gets an electronic fuel-injection system too. This BS6 motor churns out 20.2 PS of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque. The engine of the bike comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This is the same motor that does its duty in the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 too. This new 349cc J-series engine of Royal Enfield replaces the old 346cc UCE mill of the Classic 350. Also, the old Classic 350’s pushrod-valve system has been replaced by a SOHC two-valve head and it gets a primary balancer shaft too. Thanks to these changes, the new-gen Royal Enfield Classic 350's engine now has more usable torque and less vibrations.
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 offers very good performance, especially if you compare it with the old Classic 350. The motorcycle gets a very tractable motor that doesn’t mind even if you ride at low speeds in higher gears. The motorcycle has good low-end and mid-range performance and the top-end performance is also much better than before. But, the Classic 350’s owners won’t do drag tests with this bike and for sedated driving, it is a great pick. The motorcycle now cruises comfortably at 80 kmph and it easily reaches the triple-digit mark too. The new Classic 350 is also very fuel-efficient. The motorcycle delivers around 35-40 kmpl of mileage in real-world riding conditions.

The new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is based on Royal Enfield's new J-platform that also underpins the Meteor 350. The Classic 350 has ditched its old single-cradle frame and it has been replaced by a double-downtube unit. The suspension duties on the motorcycle are performed by 41 mm telescopic forks at the front and it gets a 6-step adjustable mono-shock absorber at the rear. The new-gen Classic 350 offers good ride quality and you won’t have any complaints about the motorcycle. The braking duties on the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 are performed by a 300 mm disc brake at the front and at the rear, one can choose between a 270 mm disc brake and a 153 mm drum unit.
The motorcycle gets dual-channel ABS as standard while the lower variants can also be had with the drum brake unit at the rear along with a single-channel ABS. The new Classic 350 offers decent braking performance. The front brake has good stopping power while the rear brake could have been better. The new Royal Classic 350 gets a host of features. It gets an analogue instrument cluster for the speedometer and there is an LCD display for twin trip meters and fuel gauge. The top-spec Chrome variant of the new-generation Classic 350 motorcycle also gets Royal Enfield's new Tripper navigation display.

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 get decent hardware and does its job pretty well. The motorcycle is now quite feature-rich too and it even gets the companies new Tripper navigation display. The new Classic 350 appears in old-school design, and offering vast paint scheme variety – including dual-tone shades, along with numerous new features. It has got large 19-inch tyres fitted with spoke and alloy wheel models. The new-gen Royal Enfield Classic 350 will face competition from Benelli Imperiale 400, Jawa Forty-two and Meteor 350.
