Not long ago, the FAME 2 subsidy was suspended and replaced by the EMPS 2024 scheme. Due to this, the prices of major EVs hiked steeply. However, it is the iQube that managed to keep the price hikes minimal. Additionally, it is the second best-selling electric scooter in India due to its balanced price proposition. With the new variants, TVS is expected to take the brand one step ahead of its competition.

The current iQube models start from Rs 1.36 lakh and go up to Rs 1.46 lakh. With the new variants on the chart, the starting price can very well drop as low as Rs 1 lakh. If so, TVS would be able to compete with rivals like Ola S1 Air and the upcoming Bajaj Chetak affordable variant. In terms of changes, a smaller battery pack and fewer features like an LCD console with limited connected features shall be offered with these new variants.
