TVS Motor Company introduced its iQube electric two-wheeler back in 2020. It's a convenient, eco-friendly, connected scooter that has been warmly received by EV buyers in an automotive industry that can be noticed shifting towards electric mobility.
TVS had introduced the iQube first in Bengaluru followed by Delhi. This electric two-wheeler helps its customers experience a silent, smooth, and delightful ride experience. It even provides segment-first hi-tech features like Q-Park Assist and SmartXonnect. It's a breeze to own and ride.
Coming on to the most important factor to be considered before buying an EV is its range. The TVS iQube on a full charge can only cover 75 kms. However, TVS has just announced that it will soon upgrade the batteries of its e-scooter for a higher riding range per charge along with an enhanced performance.
TVS also has future plans to introduce a new range of electric vehicles and will also focus on producing new-age IC-engined vehicles. TVS is investing more than Rs 1,000 crore in the manufacturing of electric vehicles while a dedicated 500 engineers has been assigned just for the production of EVs.
TVS Motor Companys Joint Managing Director, Sudarshan Venue said We are excited about EVs. Were investing in building capability and products to play a leading role in this in the EV space going forward, which we believe will grow fast.
TVS iQube packs three Li-ion batteries with a high-strength aluminium case to protect it from water and dust. TVS offers a three-year/50,000 km warranty on the battery pack. It delivers a maximum power of 4.4 kW and can enable the scooter to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 4.2 seconds. The users can even benefit from SmartXHome, a way to charge your electric scooter overnight.
It comes with multiple safety and convenient features like auto-cut off, authenticated supply, dust and splash protection, no hassle of carrying the charging cable, and most importantly it is installed by a TVS professional only with a free demo as well.
