Hero Motocorp has released the first teaser of its upcoming 2024 Hero Destini. The Hero Destini is all set to receive its first major update and the brand has released a teaser highlighting the new updates for the scooter. The Hero Destini was launched back in 2018 and this will be the first update to the scooter till now. Read the details of the upcoming Hero Destini 125 below. 2024 Hero Destini 125 Teased
Few days back the design patent of the upcoming Hero Destini 125 has been surfaced online. The design patent has revealed some design changes which will be introduced with the new version. The new Destini will get a redesigned tail lamp, tweaked body panels, an updated LED headlamp setup, tweaked turn indicators among other changes.
In the recent teaser, brand has also teased the new LED tail lamp, H-shaped LED DRLs with new headlamp assembly, and new turn indicators. Other design changes are expected to be in the front apron which will get a major update, the side profile will get smooth body panels and the rear will fet a curvy design with a sleek LED tail lamp.
If we talk about the hardware, the scooter will continue to get a telescopic front fork, and a spring shock absorber at the back. Braking duties will be handled by disc brake at front and drum at the rear, we can also expect a lower variant with drum brakes on both ends. Also, we can expect a tyre size update as well, currently it rides on 10-inch wheels and we expect that the top-spec variant may get a 12-inch wheel.
On the features front, the brand might add a new digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, an USB charging port among other features.
2024 Hero Destini Engine
Currently, the Destini comes with a 124.6cc engine and produces 9.1 bhp of power and 10 Nm of peak torque. We expect this same engine to do the duties on the new version. However, the brand might retune the engine for better refinement and efficiency.

Hero Destini 125 is all set to get a much needed update. The commuter two-wheeler market is getting more and more competitive with the introduction of multiple electric scooters. To keep the competition tough ICE manufacturers need to update their products as per the modern day requirements.
