Honda CB350 RS

The dimensions of the Honda CB350 RS are big and wide. The length of the CB350 RS is 2171mm, the width is 782mm, and the height is 1097mm which makes it pretty easy to ride for every body type rider. The high ground clearance of 168mm ensures that the bike doesn’t touch its underbelly on undulated roads. Also, at 179kg, the kerb weight of the CB350 RS is pretty less than its direct rivals like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. Honda has fitted a 15L capacity fuel tank that provides the CB350 RS a riding range of more than 300 km on a full tank. 

Honda is known for making one of the most refined and reliable engines. The Cb350 RS is no different from this notion. It gets a 348.36cc single-cylinder engine that generates a peak power output of 20.8 bhp & 30 Nm of peak torque. This power is mated via a 5-speed gearbox. However, it gets long gearing which makes it a bit difficult to ride inside the city. But, once you get to open roads, the long gear ratios help in easy cruising of around 90-100 kmph. The overall low-end torque and long gears help make it an effortless bike to ride on long routes. Speaking of fuel economy, it can achieve a mileage of around 35 kmpl as reported by users to 91Wheels. 

It is the good setup of tyres and brakes altogether that makes the Honda CB350 RS a well-knitted city bike for the everyday commute. The potential buyers love the 19-inch front and 17-inch tubeless alloy wheels & tyres which are supported by a good combination of brakes. Also, the wide profile of 150 at the rear end makes it easy to control and maneuver in bumper-to-bumper traffic. CB350 RS comes equipped with a 310mm front disc brake & a 240mm rear disc brakes. Both of these brakes get dual-channel ABS that helps the rider in difficult riding conditions. In terms of features, Honda offers HSVCS which is a Bluetooth smartphone connectivity feature that enables the rider to receive calls/SMS alerts on the go. Some other features include LED DRL, LED headlight, LED taillight, & LED turn indicators. It also gets a semi-digital instrument console. 

The ride & handling of the Honda CB350 RS is well-tuned according to the Indian roads. The ride quality is soft and with a pillion also the motorcycle remains calm and composed over the bad roads. Also, the high-speed riding is stable and the suspension works well over the undulations of the road. Changing directions and high-speed flicks are easy to execute on it. Also, the combination of good brakes inspires the rider to take curves and ghat sections confidently. What we really missed during our test ride was the lack of a 6-speed gearbox because its engine has a lot more to offer. Nevertheless, riding it inside city traffic conditions is also equally easy and confidence-inspiring.
