The front profile features a substantial grille, retaining the U-shaped chrome treatment that elegantly extends into the headlights. The headlights themselves are equipped with a projector setup and LED daytime running lights (DRL). The bumper design has been updated, incorporating a faux skid plate to infuse a sporty character into the Fortuner's appearance.
• The side profile remains largely unchanged, but the 4x4 variants now sport new 18-inch alloy wheels, while the 2WD units come with 17-inch wheels. Moving to the rear, the most noticeable change is the introduction of a fresh pair of LED taillights. Chrome accents enhance various parts of the vehicle, including the grille, door handles, lower window lines, and the strip connecting the taillights, adorned with the Fortuner badging.

• The Fortuner's interior offers ample space and comfortable seating. The cabin design maintains its previous layout. Notably, Toyota maintains the bench-type setup for the middle row, choosing not to provide captain seats. However, the bench configuration ensures generous space, providing comfort during extended journeys. Adequate under-thigh support and good legroom add to the overall comfort. The convenience features include a center armrest with cup holders, and roof-mounted AC vents are retained for optimal ventilation.
• Moving to the third row is easy; you simply need to tumble down and slide forward in the second-row seats. However, it's more suitable for children than adults. Extended journeys might become tiring because of the limited under-thigh support and shoulder space.
• In terms of features, it comes equipped with front ventilated seats and electrically adjustable front seats. The 8.0-inch touchscreen provides modern connectivity options such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, although some might desire a larger screen size. Additional features encompass connected car technology with geofencing and real-time tracking, along with an 11-speaker JBL sound system.
