Bajaj's E-scooter lineup currently includes only the Chetak model, which now comes in three variants. A new base variant was introduced about two months ago, providing a more affordable option for customers. But what sets these variants apart? Let's talk about the price differences between the three variants - Blue 2901, Urban, and Premium. The base variant and the mid variant have a price difference of Rs 27,321. Between the mid variant (Urban) and the top variant (Premium), there's a difference of Rs 23,924. These price differences are quite significant.

Now, if you decide to go with the subscription pack of features called "TECPAC," the value and number of features you get will vary by variant. While you will still get features with each variant, the amount and extent of these features are limited. Only with the top variant do you get the full potential of the TECPAC features.

Bajaj Chetak is currently available with special offers. The Chetak Urbane can save you up to Rs 8,300 through an exchange offer at dealerships, bringing the price down to Rs 1,15,019 (excluding TECPAC). Meanwhile, the Chetak Premium offers up to Rs 20,000 in discounts through bank cashback and dealership exchange offers, reducing the price to Rs 1,27,243 (excluding TECPAC). However, the base variant does not come with any offers.

When it comes to performance and range, the base and mid variants dont differ much in speed, both reaching up to 63 km/h. However, the base variant offers a longer range of 123 km compared to the mid variants 113 km. The top variant, with a larger battery, has a higher top speed of 73 km/h and a range of 126 km. The standard variants come with just one mode, Eco. But if you subscribe, you get access to two modes: Eco and Sports.

Without the subscription plan, the features are decent but somewhat limited. You still get a digital instrument cluster and basic Bluetooth connectivity. LED lighting is included, but app connectivity is not available in the base variant. However, the mid and top variants offer limited connectivity features. Reverse mode is only available in the top variant, but if you want it in the mid or base variants, you'll need to buy the subscription plan.

In the mid and top variants, theres an extra smart storage space on the glove box side. You can open this space using a key or a digital hook, making it really convenient to access.
