Its second generation was launched in 2023, featuring a new design, more features, and a brand-new LC4C engine that has transitioned from DOHC to SOHC. From the front and sides, it looks very similar to the 390 Duke, and KTM has done the same with the 200 Duke.

LED Head lamps
The face has the same demeanor in real life as you see in pictures, and the LED headlamps take it to the next level. Their brightness is great, and the throw is impressive. However, KTM didn't include LED DRLs like it offers in the smaller 200 cc model. Overall, the design is in complete sync with the bigger 390 Duke.
5 Inch TFT Display
Starting with this KTM model, the TFT screen is introduced, and it's one of the best resolution screens in the business. The automaker has also provided switches on the left handlebar to control its functions, and Bluetooth connectivity is available. By connecting your smartphone, the rider can play music, receive notifications, accept calls, and use turn-by-turn navigation. Plus, there are two ABS modes: Road and Supermoto, which can be selected as per your need.
Upside Fork
The 250 Duke features a 43 mm WP Apex big piston fork with 150 mm of travel, which is a major reason why riders gain so much confidence at high speeds, even on bumpy roads. Additionally, the 150 mm travel makes performing stoppies easier.
Dual Channel ABS
This is not your regular commuter bike, so it comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, featuring Bosch 10 MB, which offers two modes: Road and Supermoto. Speaking of the braking performance, it's commendable - the braking bite is strong, and even if you apply the brakes hard at 100 km/h, it slows down much faster than one might imagine.
New LC4C
The engine is all-new and now features a SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) design. With a displacement of 249 cc, it produces 31 PS and 25 Nm of peak torque, with all the power delivered to the tires through a 6-speed transmission. In terms of mileage, it achieves 35 kmpl and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.19 seconds.
