Hero MotoCorp, the largest-selling two-wheeler manufacturer in the world, has come out with a new top-spec variant of the Pleasure automatic scooter. Dubbed Hero Pleasure Plus XTec, the new model has gone on sale at a starting price of Rs 61,900 (ex-showroom).

 By fully absorbing the higher tax outgo, the company has ensured that both the Aprilia RS 457 and Tuono 457 remain at their existing prices, a move that not only shields buyers from unexpected hikes but also strengthens Aprilia's positioning in the hotly contested mid-capacity segment.
