The MG Astor Shine comes with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine and manual transmission as the Sprint model. However, it costs Rs 1,81,800 more than the Sprint. The extra cost is mainly due to the additional features offered in this variant. The Shine model gives you more choices in terms of colours, as it is available in three options: Aurora Silver, Starry Black, and Candy White.

In the Select variant, you get a 1.5L petrol engine with a manual transmission (MT) and a special Blackstrom edition based on it. Theres also a 1.5L petrol engine with a CVT automatic, and the Blackstrom edition is available for this model too.
Both the MT and CVT variants offer the same colour options: Starry Black, Candy White, Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver. The Select MT and CVT versions are priced at Rs 1.01 lakh, while the Blackstrom MT and CVT editions are priced at Rs 1.29 lakh. Comparing the standard and Blackstrom editions, the standard MT costs Rs 1.37 lakh, and the standard CVT costs Rs 1.65 lakh, with the Blackstrom versions slightly higher.
The Blackstorm Edition doesn't have any major differences from the standard variant. The main change is its unique all-black theme, which is featured across the entire body. This includes everything from the alloy wheels to the roof, as well as the front and rear sections.
