1. 15.6-inch Infotainment Screen
The MG Windsor EV comes with a 15.6-inch tablet-sized infotainment screen that comes with wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay and also doubles up as a view monitor for the 360-degree surround camera that makes it a breeze to navigate through tight spaces with a big view. You will get this sized screen from the mid-spec Exclusive trim onwards.
Competition Check- The Tata Curvv comes with a bigger 12-inch display, but it is still pretty smaller than the one found on Windsor EV. Other models like the XUV400, Nexon EV, and all come with conventional regular-sized screens that feel a lot of stark differences.
2. Ventilated Seats
The MG Windsor EV enhances comfort with its front ventilated seats, designed to keep you cool and relaxed on every drive. This feature adds a touch of luxury to the electric SUV, ensuring a pleasant experience even in warmer conditions. However, this is available from the top-end Essence trim, making you shell out those extra bucks.
Competition Check- The Tata Curvv EV and the Tata Nexon EV offer ventilated seats whereas the XUV400 misses out on this one.

4. Panormaic Glass Roof
Windsor EV comes with a big size panoramic glass roof that not only looks nice, but also offers more airiness and the feeling of a big space. This is something that the Indian buyers resonate very well with where a sunroof sometimes acts as a filter for selecting the next rides.
Competition Check- Its main EV rivals, like the Tata Curvv does offer a panoramic sunroof whereas the XUV400 EV and the Nexon EV only come with a single pane small sunroof. However, the Nexon has been spied with a bigger pano sunroof that could be introduced via mid cycle facelift.
Verdict
The MG Windsor EV opens up the pandora's box in the EV space with its disctinct ownership plan. This is the first time in India where you are paying just for the car and not the battery pack, which is charged separately for an eased up-front cost. But is this something that the common buyer would be ready to adopt? While this is something that the time would tell, we would love tp hear what you have to say about it.
