Nissan Magnite Facelift Vs Renault Kiger: Engine
The Nissan Magnite facelift gets two engine options - a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. While the former makes 100bhp of power and 160Nm of torque (5-speed MT, 5-speed AMT), the latter produces 72bhp and 96Nm of torque (5-speed MT, CVT options). The Renault Kiger also gets the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol and NA engine, producing almost the same power figures as the Magnite. Transmission options also remain the same for the Kiger. Overall, there is no difference in terms of powertrain.
Nissan Magnite Facelift Vs Renault Kiger: Features
The Nissan Magnite facelift has an improved set of features. It features an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and 4-colour ambient lighting. Other convenience cooled glovebox, wireless phone charger, a front armrest with storage space and remote engine start/stop button.
On the other hand, the Renault Kiger also offers a similar set of features. It includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver's display, automatic climate control, push start/stop button, cruise control for turbo trims, air purifier and auto-dimming IRVMs.
Nissan Magnite Facelift Vs Renault Kiger: Safety
The new Magnite is a great leap forward in terms of safety. It features 6 airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor, a hill-start assist, ISOFIX child mounts, electronic stability control and a tyre pressure monitoring system. In comparison, the Kiger only gets four airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, rear parking sensor, TPMS and ABS with EBD.
