The Nissan Magnite facelift has been launched, and it took Nissan four years to take this step. But will this facelift help the company attract new customers for this sub-compact SUV? Nissan Magnite Price: Old VS New
The new Magnite surprisingly starts at the same price tag of Rs 5.99 lakh ex-showroom, but, their is a catch. This price is only valid till first 10,000 bookings and after that company will revise the starting price. As of now, there are no big changes in the pricing of old and new Magnite.
Talking about the variants, the facelift Magnite will come in new variants and they are Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, Tekna+. Earlier, the names of variants were XE, XL, XV, XV Premium and SV Kuro Edition.

Nissan Magnite Exterior: Old VS New
The changes arent drastic but are noticeable, making it clear that this is a newer model at first glance. First of all, the grille retains its signature hexagon design and hexagonal elements inside, but now it appears to be finished in piano black. Additionally, a glossy black strip has been added alongside the bold chrome strips, which people might not notice at first glance. The bumper design is now completely new, featuring silver bumper cladding that also houses the newly positioned fog lamps. From the photos, this appears to be the biggest change at the front. In comparison, the older model had a very simple design that was both sharp and elegant.
Moving to the side profile, everything remains the same, but now we get a clear view of the new R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, which add to its boldness. Regarding the rear profile of the new Magnite, everything stays the same except for the taillights. The LED taillights now have a smoked finish, which Nissan calls 'HoneyComb Gradient Effect' which adds a touch of sportiness. Additionally, 'Magnite' written inside it.
Nissan Magnite Interior: Old VS New
The older Magnite had an all-black interior theme, but the new model features a dual-tone leather treatment that matches the facelift's color, Sunrise Cooper Orange. A significant difference is the use of leather, which elevates the experience of this Japanese sub-compact SUV.
This Sunrise Cooper Orange upholstery is featured on the front console, seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel with orange stitching, and the doors. Lastly, you'll also find hexagon patterns on the seats.
Nissan Magnite Features: Old VS New
In terms of features, there are very few additions, such as a new digital instrument cluster with improved resolution, which is 7 inches in size. The 8-inch screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay remains the same. Regarding safety features, it includes 6 airbags as standard, TPMS, rear and front parking sensors, a 360-degree parking camera, hill hold assist, and an auto-dimming IRVM. So, when it comes to features, the Magnite facelift remains the same.

Nissan Magnite Engines: Old VS New
There are absolutely no changes in terms of the powertrain; it still features a 1.0L naturally aspirated engine and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine, with a 5-MT and CVT reserved for the turbo engine, and a 5-MT and 5-AMT for the naturally aspirated engine.
Talking more about these engines, the first one produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque, and second one churns out 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque.
Nissan Magnite Colour Options: Old VS New
If you have followed up until here, now you must have known about their new colour, Sunrise Cooper Orange, this is colour Nissan introduced at the launch. Other dual tone paints are:
- Pearl White and Onyx Black
- Flare Garnet Red and Onyx Black
- Vivid Blue and Onyx Black
- Blade Silver and Onyx Black
After that there are 7 mono tone colours too, and they are:

Verdict
This update is quite subtle, focusing more on the looks of the Magnite rather than any mechanical changes. Prices are set competitively, which will attract customers with varied budgets. However, compared to the previous Magnite, it looks more stylish and is sure to attract more attention, especially in low light.
