1. Roofline Slope: The Obvious & The Evident
The first and foremost, which leaves no doubt in anyone's mind is the beautiful sedan-like sloping profile of the Tata Curvv SUV. This makes the affordable mass market segment open to the Coupe SUVs, something that was earlier available only with high-end brands. Meanwhile, the Tata Nexon's roofline also slopes towards the end, these two are starkly different in their approach, which is the main talking point of the Curvv SUV.
2. Door Handles: Curvv Taking Cues From XUV700
While you were moved by the similar design cues of both these SUVs, which is typical for brands with a dedicated design theme, the door handles of the Tata Nexon are the conventional pull-out units, whereas the Tata Curvv gets modern flush door handles, something that we have seen on the XUV700 in the past. This makes another groundbreaking addition that makes this once premium feature now available to a wider market subset.
3. Alloys Roll The Different Way (Aesthetically And In Size)
The Tata Curvv and Nexon showcase distinct alloy wheel designs, and also the size. The Curvv boasts elegant petal-shaped two-tone alloys, contrasting with the Nexon's sporty and aerodynamic design reminiscent of the Nexon EV. Additionally, reflecting its larger size, the Curvv is equipped with 18-inch wheels, while the Nexon features 16-inch units. This although not much evident in images, makes a huge difference when you spot these on the roads, not even necessarily, side by side. You will be able to register this distinction at a quick glance.
4. Front Grille
The front grille of the Tata Nexon gets a sleeker design whereas the one on the Tata Curvv resembles a lot like the one you have seen with the Harrier with horizontal elements. This is again a big difference when it comes to the overall aesthetics of these 2 SUVs. However, it doesn't just end here and there is something even more distinctive element waiting for your attention. And that leads up to the talk about the LED DRLs.
5. LED DRLs
Although you might have noticed the LED DRLs on how they bend downwards along the bonnet line with both the in-focus models, Curvv comes with connected LED DRLs with a light bar spanning the width of the bonnet. This is something that you will miss on the Tata Nexon. Interestingly, the Tata Nexon EV gets connected LED DRLs and this is the diifferentiator between the ICE and EV models of the Nexon.

6. Tail Lamps
Both Tata SUVs incorporate connected LED tail lights, each with unique design characteristics. The Nexon showcases taillights that split into a Y-shape at the edges, whereas the Curvv features a single lightbar that concludes with an upside-down ending design. Despite these distinctions, both models share their housing arrangement for the reversing light and reflector, again a shared element in line with the latest design theme.
Verdict
