Toyota India launched the Rumion MPV nearly a year back in the Indian market. Essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Rumion is the fourth MPV in the brand's arsenal after the Innova Crysta, Innova HyCross, and Vellfire. Toyota Rumion comes in three grades namely S, G, and V with manual and automatic transmission options. Besides petrol fuel trim, CNG is also available in the base S trim. Toyota Rumion: Engine & Specs
Toyota Rumion is offered with a BS6 Phase II 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine which dishes out top power of 101 bhp and highest torque of 137 Nm. It can be availed with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. As far as the lone CNG variant is concerned, it returns a power output of 86.6 bhp and torque performance of 121.5 Nm which is slightly lower than its petrol counterparts. It is retailed only with a manual gearbox with no option of an automatic unit.

The entry-level S grade is offered in both petrol and CNG fuel trims. So, it can be stated that the G variant offers the buyers maximum value for their money. Also, the CNG variant with the base trim can be a good buy if you are looking towards affordability.
