At the facelifted Nexon, Tigor and Tiago launch, Tata also showed how the upcoming 2020 Harrier will look like. Now, it doesn't get much changes on the outside other than the bright red shade and new diamond-cut alloy wheels, it is the mechanicals where the MG Hector rival sees major changes. In recent images, the interiors of the 2020 Tata Harrier automatic has been spied.
Coming to the interiors, the biggest highlight is the availability of an automatic gearbox in 2020 Tata Harrier. The gear knob is similar to that found in manual version but now comes with silver detailing and the SUV retains the aircraft-style hand brake that is found in manual.
It will continue with the same 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. The lower trims will continue with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The spy images show light brown upholstery for the interiors, adjustable lumbar support and get front and rear seat armrest. Like the manual version, the AT will continue with multiple drive modes that are Eco, Drive and Sport.
Currently, the Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre FCA sourced diesel engine which churns out 138 bhp along with 350 Nm of peak torque. Transmission sticks to a 6-speed manual gearbox and ARAI certified fuel economy sticks to 16.7 km/l.
The updated Harrier will get a 6-speed torque converter sourced from Hyundai, traction control and hill descent control. It will also get a manual shifter for added convenience.

Under the hood, it will carry the same 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine but now in a more powerful form. It will produce 170 bhp on tap and torque figures will remain the same to 350 Nm. The engine will now be BS6 compliant. The 2020 Harrier will also get a panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable driver's seat, auto-dimming IRVMs and more.
