2022 Ducati Streetfighter V2 Details
Speaking of the new V2, it is derived from its elder sibling bike Streetfighter V4. Hence, the design elements and cosmetic appeal are identical. Look from a distance and it is hard to differentiate between both the models. However, the V2 has smaller dimensions overall. The front is comprised of sharp dual-pod V-shaped connected LED headlights. The minimal design appeal is largely compensated via the sculpted fuel tank design and extensions to it.
The rear design is naked and looks butch with the fat tyre layout. Additionally, the aluminum single-sided swingarm helps in enhancing the aesthetics of the design. A sport cowl, step-up saddle, a sporty engine cowl, silver radiator shrouds, etc. add to the aggressive appeal of the design. The exhaust is a single underbelly unit that is neatly hidden in the design.
Feature-wise, Ducati has equipped the V2 with a 4.3-inch TFT colour display. It offers connected tech like the smartphone Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, there is plenty of electronic package on offer. The presence of a six-axis IMU inertial platform, three riding modes (Sport, Road, and Wet), power modes, cornering ABS with slide-by-brake function, traction control system, wheelie control, a bi-directional quickshifter, and engine brake control, etc.; make the V2 loaded with tech.
Engine & Specifications
The Streetfighter V2 comes with a BS6-compliant 955cc, L-twin motor. This engine produces peak power of 150.9 bhp & 101.4 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, this engine has been fitted with a 6-speed gearbox for fluent power delivery to the rear. For suspension, it has been equipped with fully-adjustable Showa 43mm USD front forks and a single fully-adjustable rear monoshock.
If you are wondering about the service intervals, Ducati has a surprise for you. The Streetfighter V2 comes with a service interval of 12,000 km/12 months whichever comes first. This is one of the USPs that will help the new buyers to own the V2. Additionally, its total kerb weight of it is only 178 kg.
