Bajaj-Triumph Bike Affordable Price
The first and foremost thing that we are anticipating is its affordable price. We suspect that Bajaj is going to price it somewhere near around Rs 3 lakh mark. How? Well, while the R&D is being handled by Triumph; the production will remain in the hands of Bajaj. This means that the bike will be made at the Chakan power plant of Bajaj. This also means that a lot of parts will be locally sourced and hence low cost. Additionally, Bajaj can also surprise us by undercutting our expectations. However, there is no official information till now about its pricing but we expect this price range for now.
Powerful Engine
Yes, the second most exciting fact about this upcoming bike is its engine. The powerplant that it will use is going to be in the range of 350-400cc. While the details are still unknown, many reports on the internet are suggesting it to be a powerful unit. Additionally, we expect that Triumph's engineering will result in a power output of 35 bhp or upwards. Consider this, the Bajaj Dominar 400 makes enough juice then why not this one? It's got better engine parts, better tech, & more features. Meanwhile, expect the 6-speed gearbox as a standard fitment. As Bajaj-Triumph wants to rival Royal Enfield Hunter & Yezdi Scrambler; the engine needs to make enough power. We anticipate it will.
Multiple Variants
The third fact that we are sure about is its multiple variants. We earlier presented to you the story of this bike being tested globally with two variants. This means it will come with multiple variants. Bajaj will do something like the Yezdi itself. This means, the same chassis, and the engine will be home for two or more variants. One of these variants will be road-biased as expected. This variant will eventually push the touring-oriented buyers or the ones who like to use it more on the tarmac. Then, a second variant like a scrambler will also be offered. This variant will cater the trail riding and slush-loving buyers who love to explore more off-road.
Loads Of Features
As the bike is being majorly designed and developed by Triumph, it will have loads of the latest tech. From liquid-cooling to counter-balancers to chain-driven timing systems, Triumph is going to enrich it with the latest tech. Additionally, geeky features like the fully digital instrument panel, multiple riding modes, ride-by-wire, alloy wheels, adjustable windscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, & navigation, etc. might also be offered. If the joint venture designs it correctly, this will be one of the most tech-laden bikes in its segment. Meanwhile, the visible tech from the spy shots also showcases to us that it will be using an all-LED lighting setup as well.
Top-Notch Build Quality
While we speak of the unknown build quality of it, the Triumph brand tag speaks for itself. This bike is going to be a global product. Hence, the quality of it is going to be at par with the segment rivals. Additionally, Triumph is known for creating some of the finest-built bikes in its history. However, the local production will be handled by Bajaj. But, this does not mean that the quality of it will be compromised anyhow. By the looks of it in the spy photos, one can feel that this unnamed bike is going to be very well put up. Meanwhile, we still wait for further details to unveil soon about this unnamed Bajaj-Triumph bike.
