The BS6 phase-2 emission norms have now been enforced in India from the 1st of April. The new emission norms are much stricter and require the ICE vehicles (both 2 & 4 wheeler) to be compliant with RDE (Real Driving Emission) standards. This means all the ICE vehicles will need to meet the emission standards in real-world conditions. As a result of this, many cars have been discontinued in India. However, most of the brands have upgraded the majority of their models to meet these new emission norms. Moreover, from the 1st of April, all the automakers in the country will only be able to manufacture BS6 phase-2 & RDE-compliant vehicles. Hence, here we present to you a manufacturer-wise detailed list of the most popular cars that have been upgraded to the BS6 phase-2 & RDE norms and are now available for purchase.
