Spied recently, the test bike was doing a highway run. The camouflaged test bike featured a design inspired by the flagship bike i.e. KTM 1290 Super Duke R. The headlight resembles the new design language of the Duke range. The LED headlight with the flared bezel is visible on the test bike. Also, the tank extensions are sharper & bigger.
Interestingly, the attraction point remains the new aluminum subframe. This resembles the bigger siblings like Duke 790. Also, the swingarm is asymmetrical now. It supports the offset monoshock suspension at the rear now. KTM's test bike was seen using right-handed front disc brakes; different from the regular left-side attachment. This will be interesting to see if the design makes it to the production. The test bike also seems to be using the new 5-spoke alloy wheel design similar to the KTM RC 200.
