Royal Enfield has recently launched the 2023 iteration of Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in the international market. Now the brand has launched the updated motorcycles in India. The updated Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is priced at Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Continental GT 650 is priced at Rs 3.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2023 update brings new colours and much awaited tubeless tyres, alloy-wheels and other features.

2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental 650 GT
The brand has included the long awaited alloy wheels and tubeless tyres in the latest update for the 650 twins. Also, the brand has introduced new colour options for both motorcycles. The Interceptor 650 now comes in two new colour schemes: Barcelona Blue and Black Ray, which features a blacked-out look with a black engine housing and blacked-out silencers. Black Pearl and Cali Green are two additional new colours that are available in the spokes wheel version.
Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey have been introduced by the brand to the existing colour palette for the Continental GT 650. The new blacked-out variations will have blacked-out engine and exhaust components, just as the Interceptor 650. The revamp also includes LED lighting, updated switchgear, more comfortable seats, and a USB charging station. Other than these, the 650 twins haven't undergone any additional alterations.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 Engine Specs
The brand hasn't altered the engine specifications in any way. The bikes still have a parallel twin 648cc air-oil cooled engine. The engine has a 6-speed gearbox and can generate a maximum torque of 52 Nm and 47 bhp of peak power.
Verdict: The Royal Enfield Interceptor & Continental are now more tempting to customers because of the latest improvements. Several prospective customers had been waiting for alloy wheels to be added to the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, and the latest update has now added all the desired features to both bikes.
