So, what are the real changes? Well, firstly all of these 8 models remain technically unchanged. The company has draped these bikes with chrome and attached optional accessories to them. For example, the Rocket 3 bike range now gets a chrome-plated fuel tank. However, the rest of the parts like the visor, mudguards, etc., remain jet-black in shade. Additionally, the Rocket 3 still uses the big 2.5-Lt, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes a peak power of 167 bhp.
Meanwhile, the smaller Bonneville range also received similar treatment. The T100, T120, Bobber, & Speedmaster models get chrome-plated fuel tanks now. However, the rest of the body parts remain painted in a Jet-Black shade.
Additionally, the newly introduced Speed Twin 900 siblings get the same styling tweaks. The fuel tank is now chrome-plated while the rest of the body panels remain in a Jet-Black shade. However, the Scrambler 900 gets a chrome-plated fuel tank with a green colour shade. All f these bikes are unchanged mechanically. These chrome edition bikes will remain on sale for one year. As per the company, a separate workshop has been set up for manufacturing these special edition bikes.
Verdict
