As the year is drawing to a close, Kawasaki has been quite busy. They've been hinting at and introducing new international models in the Indian market, as well as giving their global lineup a refresh. Not long ago, they updated another one of their models, the Ninja 1000 SX, which is a sport-touring motorcycle with a powerful 1043cc four-cylinder engine. This impressive bike is expected to arrive in India around 2024, slightly later than its release in other countries.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX: What To Expect!
When we talk about the updates for the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX, it appears that its design remains quite similar to the 2023 model. It maintains the typical aggressive styling that suits the Ninja brand, featuring a full fairing with sharp lines and creases, as well as a sharp tail section.
One notable change for the 2024 model is the addition of a new colour option. People can now choose a Metallic Matte Graphite Gray combined with Metallic Diablo Black, which also includes striking red highlights on the fairing.
As for the key features, the engine and hardware components remain unchanged. The Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX still comes equipped with LED headlights and taillights, a colourful TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, and an adjustable windscreen. This should provide a good understanding of what's new and what remains the same for this bike, even for those not familiar with motorcycles.
The Ninja 1000 comes with a bunch of safety features like a Traction Control System (TCS) with three levels, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and it also has two power modes. It features a quick shifter that allows for smooth gear changes in both directions, along with Kawasaki's Cornering Management Function and cruise control.

2024 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX: Powertrain And Rivals
The Ninja 1000 is powered by a 1043cc inline-four cylinder engine, which produces 140 horsepower and 111Nm of torque. This engine is connected to a six-speed gearbox, which has a special clutch to make gear shifting smoother and easier, especially during quick downshifts.
It competes with models such as the Ducati SuperSport S, Suzuki GSX-S1000GT, and Ducati Multistrada V4 S.
Verdict
The changes to the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX don't completely transform its look, but they keep its bold and unique style intact. The new color choice is a cool option for folks who like some variety. The strong engine and important features remain, ensuring it's still a fun bike for sport-touring. However, it would've been even better to see some new tech or extra improvements to keep up with the changing market.
