Tata Motors is gearing up to elevate the sub-compact sedan segment with the upcoming 2025 Tata Tigor. The sub-compact sedan segment recently saw an upgrade with the two major contenders Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze launching their new generations. Tata Tigor and the Hyundai Aura are the two that feel a bit outdated. 2025 Tata Tigor: Design
The 2025 Tata Tigor will get some cosmetic changes on the outside. However, it will retain the same basic shape as the existing model. The front features an updated bumper with a newly designed bottom grille. At the same time, the rear bumper has also undergone some minor changes. Following the trend, a new LED headlight setup will be installed along with 15-inch alloy wheels.
Features
On the inside, the 2025 Tigor gets an updated feature list with a ton of new features. It will get a fully digital instrument cluster from the base model, smart steering, and illumination. Additionally, some of the features include 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, automatic AC, shark fin antenna, rain-sensing wipers, 360-degree camera, and cruise control.
Powertrain & Pricing
Under the hood, the Tigor remains unchanged. The 2025 Tigor will continue to be powered by the same 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder engine clubbed along with a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. This engine belts out 85 Bhp and 113 Nm with the petrol and 72 Bhp and 95 Nm with the CNG variant.
The earlier base variant, XE, has now been discontinued, and the list starts from the XM variant priced at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). While the top trim XZ Plus is now available at a price tag of Rs 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the CNG variant has three options. The XT trim is priced at Rs 7.70 lakh (ex-showroom), Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the XZ plus and Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top trim XZ plus Lux.
