KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Next-generation Hyundai Venue spotted testing.
- Spotted in India for the first time.
- If launched, it will most likely get the same engine options.
Yesterday, we came across a new spy shot of a compact SUV testing on the outskirts of New Delhi. By comparing the rear left profile and tail-lights with an international spy shot, we at 91Wheels believe that this car is the Hyundai Venue, and its second generation is being tested. More details about the upcoming Venue are below. Before that, do join our 91Wheels Whatsapp Channel to never miss out on automotive updates.

Here's Why We Think This Is Hyundai Venue?
Hyundai Venue was first launched in India in 2019, and recieved its facelift in 2022. So, technically the 1st generation of it is now more than 5 years older, so it did need a new shape and all together an evolved personality.
That's why I believe Hyundai has started testing the upcoming second generation of the Hyundai Venue in India. The picture we got our hands on features plastic wheel covers and is finished in grey. The LED tail-lights on this model match those seen in international spy shots of the Venue. Although the car is fully covered, the connected LED DRL pattern is still visible, and from the C-pillar, it's clear that this is the Venue.
If launched, the powertrain options would remain similar: a 1.0L turbo petrol, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, and 1.5L diesel. The current model of this car is already packed with a good amount of features, but the new one might take it to the next level with a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, and even bigger screens.
A big shoutout to 91Wheels community member Aparajith for the picture!

Verdict
The sub-compact SUV segment is the hottest in the country right now, with the recent launches of two more cars, the Kia Syros and Skoda Kylaq, and now this upcoming scoop of an already blockbuster car. The Venue is the second-best selling car in Hyundai's lineup after the Creta, and both fall in the compact SUV segment. Let's see if we get more updates on this, and for more news like this, follow 91Wheels.
