Ather has officially announced the commencement of bookings for its new e-scooter. The Ather 450 Apex is now available via online bookings. Ather 450 Apex - What's New?
The 450 Apex is likely to become the fastest e-scooter in Ather's portfolio. While fewer details are known about it, the overall design looks more or less the same as the current Ather 450X. The design silhouette shown in the teaser image looks a bit similar. However, there will be changes to make it stand out from the rest of the lineup. One of the images on the official website shows that it'll get a red or orange subframe.
It is likely to get a bigger battery and electric motor than the 450X. The 450X uses a 3.4kWh battery and has a top speed of 90 kmph. The Apex is likely to get better performance & maybe a top speed of upwards of 100 kmph. Moreover, the official website shows it'll get a new Warp Plus mode, indicating faster performance. The Apex will be available to customers for delivery by March 2024. Meanwhile, the price announcement and official reveal of it can take place in early 2024. We expect that it'll be priced at around Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

Over the time, Ather has surfaced as one of the safest & reliable EV brand in India. The 450 e-scooter range has a sturdy build and engaging performance as well. Ather recently introduced a budget version of the 450 called 'S'. Now, the addition of a faster variant will help customers with more variety to choose from.
