Bajaj Platina 110 ABS
Launched in 2022, this is one of the cheapest commuter bikes to feature a single-channel ABS. Its ex-showroom price in New Delhi is Rs 81,350, and a non-ABS version is still being sold. The Platina is known for its top-class fuel economy and comfortable ride, and has been selling in the country since 2006. In rural parts of the country, it is one of the most commonly seen bikes.
Bajaj CT125X
The CT125X is by far one of the most unnoticeable bikes on the road because its design doesn't stand out. It sits above the CT110 and starts at Rs 74,016. Apart from being a strict commuter bike, it offers a very rugged look, and its chassis seems much stronger than its competitors. However, due to extremely poor sales, the automaker has discontinued it.

Verdict
These bikes were not well-known, and despite being extremely affordable, people were switching to rivals like the Hero Splendor. The reason for their failure is definitely not their affordability, but the fact that they weren't exciting enough. Customers usually don't opt for products marketed as cheap or affordable; they want something bolder that commands attention when riding on the road.
